Rainbow Serpent

Image
RAINBOW SERPENT This painting is the outcome of a creative urge I had to create my own interpretation of a celestial being that represents a potential enlightenment within the human psyche. The body is serpentine symbolizing kundalini energy that rises up through the chakas and emanates through the third eye and crown chakra in a burst of gold divine light. The wings are rainbow representing all the colors of the chakras. An embellished giclee print on premium watercolor paper is available in my Etsy. Limited edition of 20.   http://www.etsy.com/listing/94299572/rainbow-serpent-embellished-giclee-print

E.A.S.T. Tour...Looking forward to 2012

Image
The E.A.S.T. was a wonderful and inspiring experience.  To meet and view all the other artists spaces and to see so much uniqueness and variety was a treat.  I am very thankful to my hosts for letting me share their space and to all who came and supported the artists.  Sorry this post is kind of late. The E.A.S.T. was my last art show of 2011.  2012 is still manifesting...but I have some awesome paintings I am going to upload soon and prints to be made available in my Etsy shop---stay tuned (: !  Happy New Year to Everyone!

Art Outside Recap

Image
I wanted to share my set up of my paintings that I created for Art Outside:    There were many challenging technical issues that had to be dealt with as they came up-from 20 mph wind gusts that kept making my canopy collapse, to lighting problems---so thank full to our awesome neighbors that loaned me their extension cord so I could reach the power grid and light up my art! Then a deluge of rain!  Unfortunately-- I had to pack up my paintings early due to the impending storm that was on its way to the area.      The amazing encounters I had with everyone that took time to look were priceless. Seeing all the people, art and effort that goes into such a special and unique event was magical. This sculpture was amazing under the moon! My cell phone camera does not do it justice..                         ...
